Webservices is the ultimate gateway to the heart of Company.info data for the ones who are interested in making everything automated. We provide all kinds of APIs into the huge database of Company.info and make sure that the APIs are always up and running, using cutting-edge technology with our highly skilled team!

You will

As a member of the Webservices backend team, cooperating with developers with different nationalities and levels of experience and expertise, you will be maintaining existing software, developing new features and services, and fixing the issues.

You will work on decoupling a monolithic project, by creating micro-services and migrating the existing logic to a robust and modern architecture.

You will be participating in the solution design and decision-making sessions to tackle the problems or introduce new features and technologies. We listen to you and put your knowledge and expertise into practice. In order to do all that you will be learning on the job constantly, we will make time available for that. Among others for learning new programming languages, technologies, tools and concepts to keep yourself up to date with the on-going tech world.

Communication is key, you will go through the Scrum ceremonies to make sure the team has a definitive roadmap, technical backlog and well-defined processes to keep distraction and context switching at minimum.

We are not afraid of using the modern tools! You will always be dealing with the latest technologies in coding, architecture, operations, etc. Are you the developer who wants to Dockerize his beloved micro-service and deploy it to Kubernetes with fancy CI/CD pipelines and Helm Charts? Key technical skills and requirements

• Good problem-solving skills, and tendency to learn new technologies.
• Sufficient knowledge and at least 2 years of working experience with Golang programming language.
• Being familiar with CI/CD solutions (i.e., Gitlab CI)
• Having subtle knowledge and working experience over different kinds of databases and storages (i.e., RDBMSs, NoSQL and Time-series).
• Being familiar with the concepts of micro-services, event-driven systems and cloud-native solutions.
• Having basic knowledge of containerization with Docker.
• Having fair knowledge and experience of using source control solutions, specifically Git.
• Basic knowledge and experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Good communication skills, written and spoken, in English.

Nice-to-have skills

• Having knowledge and experience of programming with PHP.
• Having knowledge and experience over streaming tools, message brokers and queues (i.e., Apache Kafka, NATS and RabbitMQ)
• Having the experience of working with orchestrators, mainly Kubernetes.
• Knowledge and experience in DevOps (Ansible, AWS).
• Written and spoken proficiency in Dutch.
